How it works

  1. Set up in minutes Sign in with a one-time code, then add your brand, an activity, a price and your first session in the setup wizard.
  2. Share your booking page Send your public link — guests pick a session and send a booking request. You confirm from Requests or Today.

Book

A booking page that looks like you.

Run

Today: your day on one board.

See every session on your phone — confirmed bookings, agent sends, and requests waiting on you. Mark guests arrived, run walk-ups, and feed the same week’s pay run.

  • Today day board
  • Activities with cover photos
  • Partners and agents in one place

Pay

Friday crew pay from the sessions you ran.

No other booking platform we reviewed closes the week. AdventureOS drafts staff pay from completed sessions at your rates, flags anything it cannot match, and waits for your approval before the period seals.

  • Weekly pay run
  • Quiet weeks cost less than a flat sub
  • 3% per booking — no monthly plan

Why operators look here

Published fee, quiet-month billing, and Friday pay they do not run

  • vs FareHarbor They hide the fee behind a demo. We publish 3% per booking and never add a guest surcharge line.
  • vs Peek Pro Marketplace gravity and opaque take. You keep the customer on your own booking page and close Friday crew pay in the same app.
  • vs Checkfront A monthly platform fee plus a percentage on quiet weeks. We charge 3% when you work — no subscription.
  • vs Booking·Tours R2,000 every month even when it is quiet. We bill about 3% on completed bookings and run weekly staff pay they do not.

Questions

What it costs, and how the week closes

Straight answers. 3% per booking. No subscription.

What does AdventureOS cost?
AdventureOS charges 3% per booking — 3% of each paid, completed booking, not per day or per month. There is no subscription, no setup fee, no onboarding fee and no integration fee, and the first 14 days carry no fee at all. Invoicing is weekly, in arrears, one line per billed booking. A quiet week costs nothing.
Is there a maximum fee per booking?
Yes — the platform fee is up to $10 / R165 per booking. Most bookings cost less at 3%.
Which booking software calculates staff pay?
Of the ten booking platforms reviewed — FareHarbor, Peek Pro, Xola, Bókun, Rezdy, Checkfront, TrekkSoft, Regiondo, SimplyBook.me and Bookeo — none runs a staff pay period. AdventureOS drafts one each week from the sessions that were actually completed, flags anything it cannot resolve, and lets an owner approve it. Approval seals the period: each record is paid at most once, ever.
Am I charged for a booking that was cancelled or rained off?
No. Cancelled, refunded, no-show and weather-held bookings are never billed. A booking is billed only once payment into your own merchant account is confirmed and the session has been completed, after its undo window closes.
Does AdventureOS hold my guests’ money?
No. AdventureOS is not a payment processor and never holds guest funds. Guests pay you on your own merchant account. We invoice only our fee, weekly in arrears, with one line per billed booking.
Is there booking and operations software built for your region?
AdventureOS is operated by XEQT (Pty) Ltd in South Africa. Built for adventure operators everywhere. Guest card checkout through Paystack on your own merchant account is rolling out; Yoco and PayFast are on the roadmap. Platform fees are invoiced weekly in rand today; local currency per country is planned.
Does the crew app work without a signal?
Not yet. Today runs in your mobile browser when you have signal — one board for sessions, guests and walk-ups. An offline queue for check-ins and completions when the signal drops is coming soon.
What happens to a booking that arrives after the pay period has closed?
It rolls into the next open period rather than reopening a closed one. If a period nets negative for a staff member, the shortfall is carried forward to the next period instead of being written off, so the money is neither lost nor paid twice.
Is there a cap on referral agent commissions?
No. Referral agent commissions have no cap. Agents earn the rate you set with them on each paid, completed booking they send. That is separate from the 3% you pay AdventureOS.
