3% of a booking. Nothing else.
That is the whole price list. No subscription, no setup or onboarding fee, no integration fee, and no per-seat charge — add as many staff as the operation needs. Your first 14 days carry no fee at all, and no card is needed to start.
What counts as a billable booking
A booking is billed only when it is both paid and completed.
- Paid
- Your payment provider — Yoco, Paystack or PayFast on your own merchant account — confirms the funds arrived, by webhook or a reconciled provider statement. For an OTA booking, the OTA's payout report is the confirmation.
- Completed
- The session is completed in the manifest. Sessions complete automatically at the end of their local day, and the office can undo within a configured window. A booking is billed only once that undo window has closed.
- Not billed, ever
- Cancelled, refunded, no-show and weather-held bookings, and anything that is not both paid and completed. A refund after billing appears as a reversal on the next invoice.
- Booking value
- The booking total in the ledger, net of refunds and excluding VAT. Direct, agent, office, walk-up and OTA-sourced bookings are charged at the same rate — no channel costs you more for the way it arrived.
What it comes to
The rate is 3% on every ticket up to R5 500. Above that the fee on that booking stops at R165 and the effective rate falls, because a percentage of a large booking would be out of proportion to the work involved.

A worked month. 55 paid, completed bookings at R1 750 each is R96 250 of booking value. The fee is 55 × R52.50 = R2 887.50, invoiced the following month. In your first 14 days it is R0.

Card processing is excluded for every vendor. Bókun and Checkfront charge nothing on OTA-sourced and offline bookings; AdventureOS charges the same rate on every channel.
Invoicing and pass-through costs
- Invoicing
- Weekly in arrears, one line per billed booking, so every charge names the booking it came from. Billed in your own currency. Weekly because that is the rhythm you already run on — guides and referral agents are paid weekly, and a single monthly bill arrives out of step with the money you have.
- Pass-through only
- Two optional things are billed to you by their own providers at their own prices, with no margin added by us: WhatsApp messaging on your own Meta account, and TimelinesAI seats on your own subscription.
- We never hold your guests' money
- Guests pay into your merchant account. AdventureOS reads the provider's confirmation and invoices you for its fee only.
